Duxinaroe are pleased to announce our MD, David Bovis will be included as a guest speaker in the 2nd Annual Offshore Oil and Gas Safety and Risk Forum, to be held in Stavanger, Norway on the 24th and 25th March 2015.
The Duxinaroe approach to Cognitive Behavioural Safety recognises the value and importance of understanding the psychological aspects of safety critical behaviours. We are grateful for the approach and happy to be able to contribute and spread the word.
David said "The quicker the world wakes up to the idea that the brain is root cause of all human actions, reactions and behaviours, the quicker we will improve our approach to development in all areas of business and life in general ... I'm very pleased to be able to help bring this new world view to the table, in respect to Leadership, Parenting and now for the Oil and Gas industry".
David Bovis, Duxinaroe Managing Director and Ken Baker, Operations Director, were very happy to attend a meeting at the University of Buckingham Business School in September to discuss the inclusion of some aspects of 'The Dux Method' to the Leadership and Change modules within the new MSc - CIPS to run from Springtime in 2015.
David was invited to contribute by John Bicheno, formerly Director at Cardiff LERC and author of 'The Lean Toolbox'.
David says "I'm really looking forward to contributing to this new MSc in Continuous Improvement and I'm grateful to John Bicheno and Dr. Pauline Found for having the foresight to include this distinct piece detailing the 'Human Factors' of change."
