Our response was to put what they’d done in the past into context against a balanced approach where people, tools and strategy are integrated and inter-dependent, delivered in such a way they remain involved throughout the process and are left with the ability to continue the work, free from external support.
In the following discussions, we offered explanations on a white-board to help clarify the approach we would take to meet their needs and a clear picture began to evolve for them.
In delivering a different perspective and helping the client relate their real experience to our approach, we asked them to consider questions like: “What if you’d done it this way?” And “what would you have realistically expected the result to have been?” This helped them appreciate, understand and commit to the Duxinaroe approach vs. the traditional method which had previously failed.
We got such a positive reaction from the client, we felt others might benefit from the same understanding. So we formalised the model to share with you. An explanation of our approach as presented to this client can be seen in the attached .pdf.
