We talk to a lot of very senior people, responsible for leading change, which leads to sustainable performance improvement ... from in-house teams & consultants, to CEO's & Investors ... In recent times, the tone of those conversations has shifted from 'Sustainability' to 'Culture'. In a few chats, it's been overtly said, "We have the tools! We've been training those for years ... all we need now is the culture" ... that got me thinking over the weekend, as it reminded me of a realisation I had over a decade ago ... Which was: the tools were invented as a result of the beliefs (in those like Sakichi Toyoda (loom shuttle change) and Taichi Ohno (TPS)) ... The beliefs were formed within a cultural context, premised upon respect and self-discipline (Hansei / Kaizen). Easy to say ... but it's a massive subject and no-one has the time to explore it ... we know at Dux, that the brain prcesses images 60X faster than words, so I thought I'd make this 1 minute video, to provide an entry point into a fascinating subject. Enjoy. #btfa #boviscycle #duxinaroe #culturechange
